What This App Collects
Nothing. Aerion has no user accounts, analytics, tracking, or telemetry of any kind. We do not operate servers that receive your data.
Location Data
If you grant permission, Aerion uses your device's location to fetch air quality data for your area. Your location is sent directly to the selected air quality data provider (Google Air Quality, IQAir, or AQI.in) and is never stored or transmitted to our servers.
API Keys
Any API keys you enter are stored locally on your device in macOS UserDefaults. They are never transmitted anywhere other than to the respective air quality API provider.
Third-Party Services
Aerion communicates with third-party air quality APIs to fetch data. These providers have their own privacy policies. We do not share any data with third parties beyond the API requests required to display air quality information.
